Bud Werner Library Steamboat Springs, CO
The Bud Werner Memorial Library was originally built in 1967, with a major expansion and renovation finished in 2009. One of the few major LEED certified buildings in Steamboat Springs, with a certification of Silver, the library is a major epicentre of town. Ample public space along the Yampa River side of the site, allows for the community to use the site without even having to step into the building. THe architects for this project were MS&R, Meyer Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd. and West Elevation Architects, Inc., with Scott Myller as Principal in Charge.
